Final Fantasy Hands-On

To celebrate the venerable Final Fantasy series’20 years old, came from Square Enix with Final Fantasy Dissidia, an action role-playing game that will have an important list of the best known characters in the series. In the last two decades, there have been more than a dozen games and Final Fantasy spin-offs, but Dissidia will meet some of our favorite heroes and villains of the main series and a pool to another in epic battles.

At first glance, this is going to look like a fighting game – mainly because that is what he is doing – but with RPG elements, story, and customization, Dissidia is more than one battle after another. We had the opportunity to play a few skirmishes at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, but we recently received a preview build to go further and see the many features of the game.

The story takes place in a distant kingdom, where two gods are locked in an eternal conflict. Cosmos (the goddess of harmony) and Chaos (the goddess of discord), have been recruiting all the warriors to fight in a deadly war. It seems that chaos is gaining the upper and Space is running out of steam. After their meeting of 10 brave warriors, Cosmos, tells them that each must find a crystal, their last hope of winning the war. Very little instruction is given, but the Warriors came out immediately in each of his journeys in search of answers and the elusive crystals.
Story mode is set so that you can play through each individual hero of the story in any order. To complete the character of the story, you need to delete chesslike multiple levels. Each map consists of a random number of boxes in a grid, with pieces of enemies, treasure and potions on the table. The goal is to reach the stigma of Chaos on the other side of the board to finish the level. As you complete battles, you get levels, learn new skills, and receive the goods and equipment so you can customize your character. Equipment is shared between all the heroes, so you can easily change the items when they change characters. As the story develops each character, you’ll notice that their personalities and backstories events of the game that originally starred in. For example, it is as pensive and brooding cloud as usual, shrouded in doubt and wonder what you’re fighting for, and Terra has to deal with amnesia and has powers that do not understand. It will be interesting to see how all these arguments is a tie, because a large assembly of such characters rich with such stories can be difficult.
Battles are one-on-one battle in which the objective is to reduce your opponent’s health to zero. The system is unique because Dissidia first must use the circle button to reduce the value points of your enemy in order to boost their own. Their bravery points are equivalent to the damage they can deal, so once you’ve sucked enough courage of his opponent, you press the square button to attack. It’s like bringing the arms of your enemy before delivering the killing blow. There is an EX indicator to the left of your health bar, and when full, you can go into EX mode by holding square and the right button, which gives you the ability to deal more damage and make EX unblock a blast – like a limit break with overdrive or previous games.
The different scenarios for a variety of fields open to interior corridors, which may make it difficult to keep their eyes closed to his opponent. You can use the blocking of the L key, but the camera is not always the best location, especially if you maneuver around walls or cliffs, or chasing an enemy quickly. There will be times when the X button is displayed, giving the option to hunt your opponent or to dodge attacks vehicles. The battle system was designed by the creators of Kingdom Hearts, so you may see familiar features like the air has been achieved. If you run around the battlefield is too overwhelming, there is a "style of command" to unlock the option that changes the game from the usual style of action. " This mode allows you to choose commands on the battlefield, while the CPU moves your character for you. Although this make the game easier because you do not have to worry about the camera or movement, you still need to see your character and their actions over time, or you’ll easily lose the game.
Dissidia is full of extra modes and features so that you constantly discover something new or who earn more. When you create a profile, make sure you choose which day is most likely to play because there are bonuses to play on that day. A shop is available for you to upgrade your weapons and armor to your characters level. You will learn new skills, which can be assigned to specific equipment and configurations that you find button summons. You will be constantly opening up new areas and ways, so the in-game manuals are a useful reference for more information. It’s also fun to see cameos of characters from all the Final Fantasy series that are there to help
Arcade mode – which was added to the version of North America – lets you choose the character to play as a team and face-alignment election opponents. Depending on their results, you can earn points to spend on the PP list, where you can unlock villains among many other things. Once you unlock more characters, you can play with or against them in battle quickly, so that one can customize the characters and stages and adjust the strategy for the computer. Fail to prove it, but you can demonstrate your skills by playing against a friend in ad hoc mode and a Duel Mode Colosseum and involving the cards.
Dissidia’s impressive list has been adjusted by the character designer Tetsuya Nomura, giving a more uniform appearance. The cutscenes are beautifully done, and the graphics in the game will remind you of Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core. Nobuo Uematsu previous musical works, which were carefully considered by composer Takeharu Ishimoto Crisis Core, it evokes strong memories of the previous games and are one of the highlights while playing through the game. Most of the cutscenes are voice acted, with some players to suit the characters better than others. On the whole, however, the game looks fantastic and sounds that fans of the series are sure to appreciate. As you progress through the game, an option is a museum to house music, cutscenes, and information about the characters for you to read in their spare time.
Dissidia Final Fantasy is clearly designed for amateurs, so you can play as Buster, the sword-wielding, once again, the clouds and see how the warrior of light from the original Final Fantasy was meant to look. An action game at its core, Dissidia offers plenty of options that we have not even played in our time with him. We will be updating our website with more exclusive images of game every week, and be sure to check back for our full review when the game launches on August 25.
